Every Friday night we feature a short story, essay, personal narrative, poem,
spoken word, or short film for your enjoyment.
Tonight’s poem is from Brett Hymes
Brett Hymes is an emerging writer based in Los Angeles, writing about the spaces of relationships, existence and decreation as if it were math. Each piece is it’s own equation trying to understand and answer uncertainty and why it is such a recurrent idea. Irrational Number engages the reader in the equation of a relationship, as the reader and the speaker question the logic of fissure and the division within it.
